21 November 09, Yangon, MYANMAR: Singapore has finished 6^th in the 2^nd Boys U18 Asia Cup following a respectable 4-1 defeat at the hands of India. Singapore had previously just missed out of making the semi-finals on goal difference after they drew 1-1 with Japan. A victory in that game would have seen Singapore progress to the last four.

Overall the Singapore contingent was satisfied with their performance and is looking forward to climbing the ranking table both in the region and the world. If selected, the Singapore boys would go on to represent the island republic at the Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore next year.-story by SHF
