The Singapore Mens team will play 2 test matches against Brunei on 25 and 26 February 2025. It will be the first international matches played by Brunei since 2020, when again the Singapore Mens team travelled to play our ASEAN neighbours.

National team coach K Vijayan stated “The Brunei test series will be the first of many similar test series which will be arranged to give the youth team enriching experiences of international and high performance hockey. This upcoming Brunei test series team consists of 90% U-21 players who will be debuting for Singapore to earn their first international cap. We hope that these experiences will motivate the youth players to learn and stay committed on course to secure the Gold in the 2029 SEA Games.”
