The Umpires Committee in collaboration with officiating bodies in Australia, New Zealand, China and Thailand held a very informative and absorbing weekend of umpire training and development from 26 to 28 April 2025. The program was conducted by Paris Olympic Umpires from Singapore, Lim Hong Zheng and Cookie Tan. They were assisted by fellow Olympic Umpires Irene Presenqui (Argentina) and Annelize Rostron (South Africa). Overseeing the program was Olympic Umpire and Umpire Manager, Minka Wooley (Australia). The program saw the participation of umpires from Singapore, China, New Zealand, Australia and Thailand.

Among the topics covered were pre-match preparation, player control and mental preparation. The SHF thanks all participants and trainers and looks forward to more such collaborations.
