As Singapore’s National Indoor Men’s and Women’s Teams gear up for the SEA Games 2025, preparation goes far beyond physical training and tactical drills. One crucial component of high-performance sport is understanding the rulebook inside out — and that’s exactly what our athletes and coaches focused on during a recent Indoor Rules Briefing led by experienced official Ravindepal Singh.

Hosted by Singapore Hockey on 5 December 2025, this session brought together players and coaching staff for a deep dive into the latest FIH Indoor Hockey regulations. With updates regularly introduced in global competitions, staying aligned with current rules is essential to ensure that all players share a common understanding and to minimise rule-related errors during matches. This clarity not only strengthens our teams’ grasp of the rights and wrongs of the game, but also provides a valuable tactical edge.
