🥉 SEA Games 2025 | Singapore Hockey Teams Secure Bronze Medals

Singapore Hockey concluded its SEA Games 2025 campaign with a Bronze medal finish across all four teams, reflecting the collective resilience, commitment, and fighting spirit shown by the athletes throughout the tournament.

Men’s Indoor Hockey

The Singapore Men’s Indoor Hockey team demonstrated steady improvement and resilience over the course of the competition. A key highlight came on 15 December with a commanding 8–1 victory over the Philippines, where the team displayed composure, discipline, and control across all four quarters. Despite challenging fixtures against Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia, the team showed clear progress in structure and competitiveness, particularly in the semi-final against Malaysia, culminating in a Bronze medal finish.

Women’s Indoor Hockey

The Singapore Women’s Indoor Hockey team showcased determination and unity throughout their SEA Games campaign. After competing strongly against Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, the team recorded a composed 2–0 win over the Philippines on 17 December, underlining their attacking intent and defensive discipline. The women delivered a resilient performance in the semi-final against Thailand, finishing the tournament with a Bronze medal for Singapore.

Men’s Field Hockey

The Men’s Field Hockey team opened their campaign with a confident 4–0 victory over Myanmar on 11 December, setting a positive tone for the tournament. The match also marked a milestone for Captain Silas, who earned his 100th international cap, contributing two goals in the win. The team went on to record a 0–0 draw against Indonesia, a narrow 0–1 loss to Thailand, and continued to compete with resilience against Malaysia. Another milestone was achieved on 15 December, when Darren Sia Ding Lun earned his 50th international cap. The team’s perseverance and discipline throughout the tournament saw them secure a Bronze medal finish.

Women’s Field Hockey

The Singapore Women’s Field Hockey team competed with resilience and determination against strong regional opposition. Across matches against Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, the team demonstrated strong work rate, defensive commitment, and periods of sustained attacking pressure. Despite challenging results, the squad continued to compete with professionalism and unity, including in the semi-final against Malaysia, concluding the SEA Games 2025 campaign with a Bronze medal.
