The SHF Under-18 Indoor Hockey Tournament 2026 came to a successful close, marking an exciting showcase of youth hockey talent, discipline, and competitive spirit.
Held as part of SHF’s continued efforts to strengthen the youth development pathway, the tournament provided young athletes with a valuable opportunity to test themselves in a fast-paced indoor hockey environment. Throughout the event, teams displayed strong technical ability, quick decision-making, and great determination on court.
The tournament featured spirited performances across both the Boys’ and Girls’ categories, with every team contributing to the energy and intensity of the competition. From well-worked team goals to committed defensive efforts, the standard of play reflected the growing depth of youth hockey in Singapore.
Congratulations to Victoria School Team A, who emerged as champions of the Boys’ Tournament after securing a 2–0 victory over Victoria School Team B in the final. Congratulations also to QSS-SCGS Team A, who claimed the Girls’ Tournament title with a 1–0 win over Millennia Institute Team A. Both champion teams showed excellent teamwork, composure, and consistency throughout the competition.
Beyond the results, the tournament served as an important platform for young players to gain match experience, build confidence, and develop a deeper appreciation for the indoor format of the game. It was encouraging to see players supporting one another, competing with respect, and demonstrating the values that SHF hopes to continue nurturing in the next generation of hockey athletes.
SHF would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all participating schools, coaches, teachers, officials, volunteers, parents, and supporters for their contributions to the success of the event. Their support played an important role in ensuring that the tournament was conducted smoothly and meaningfully for all involved.
We would also like to acknowledge the hard work of everyone behind the scenes who assisted with planning, coordination, match operations, and event delivery. Their commitment helped create a positive and memorable experience for the players.
The SHF Under-18 Indoor Hockey Tournament 2026 once again highlighted the passion, promise, and potential within our youth hockey community. We look forward to continuing to provide more competitive platforms for young athletes to grow, improve, and represent the future of hockey in Singapore.
